This past November, Puerto Vallarta was honored to have this amazing chef share her culinary excellence with our fair city. It was an honor to attend this special dinner. Thank you Chef Thierry Blouet of Cafe Des Artistes Puerto Vallarta!
Café des Artistes has been open since 1991 serving classic French and Nuevo Mexicana cuisine. It’s a beautiful restaurant in Centro with a stunning garden dining area, especially enjoyable in pleasant temperatures (December-April). In other months enjoy inside dining, stylishly designed, also with AC (my personal favorite!)
The star of the evening was the expertly curated tasting menu that delighted us with freshness and innovation, each offering was delicious making it impossible to pick a favorite. All of the dishes were the perfect size for a tasting menu, and each of them were exquisitely presented.
If you’ve never been to Café des Artistes, I highly recommend it. Don’t save it for a “Special Occasion” like you do your good china, life is short, you’re in paradise, go ENJOY IT!
